Livin' with Plants

Hello there, Today's blog post is about figs. Here in Vojvodina it is rare to see a house where fig trees are locates in the garden. My family has been harvesting figs from the garden in abundance almost every year for 10-15 years. Currently (early May) the tree shows the green crop beautifully. Hey there, I want to share with you my yesterdays experience during my bike tour. In spring the environment flourishes, life begins. This is how it happened in my hometown. I live in Vojvodina, where most people are involved in agriculture and farming. There are fields between the cities, which are colored by the many flowers at this time. Yesterday I was in a part of town where rapeseed is most common in the fields. The canola then has a golden yellow and intense floral scent which the bees are most happy with. This industrial plant is mostly used to make oil. But the honey is also fantastic. I’ll put in a few pictures to illustrate how beautiful nature is at this time. Enjoy :)

Hey there, I hope you are in great. Today i want to present to you some nutrition solutions for the care of plants. First tip from me is add some dry eggshell to ground. My father read on the internet a few weeks ago about the beneficial effects of eggshell. To give vitamins to plant, we need to dry eggshell, must be ground, and then the dry grind should be mixed with the ground. Or just sprinkled under the seedling during planting. The eggshell contains calcium carbonate which promotes the growth of the seedling and provides it with the vitamins necessary for development. As they break down, the eggshells enrich the soil with calcium and nitrogen, which the plant's roots will absorb and put to use as it grows. I put a picture about the progress. The second tip is using a banana peed as the natural feed for plants. This is the most easier way to feed your plants, using just a natural things. After eating a banana don't put the peed at the garbage. J ust slice it

Hey there, Today i want to share with you our new project in the backyard. My family (mostly my father and me) are plant lover. This year we want to plant lot of vegetables and other green stuffs in our garden. First of all, last week we buy 15 "Early Girl" tomato seedling, and 3 cherry seedling. We plant these and wait for the first flowers. This week we plant 8 "Beefsteak" tomato and another 3 cherry seedling. For my suggestion, the cherry tomatoes are plant in bigger flowerpot, which is seems like a good idea. I'm already looking forward to the first tomatoes.
